The entire slokam is just 2 lines starting with 'jnanandamayam devam' and ending with 'upAsmahe'. The other lines are just translations and transliterations.

ReplyDeleteDear Nandiniji,
ReplyDeleteMy Son has speech delay he is 2.8years old. He is trying to say few words hence I want to recite some slokas or Mantras which can help him in his memory speech and good health (Physical & Mental) Please advise if I need to recite this above mentioned Hayagreeva Mantra or do u have any other suggestions.
Many Thanks,
Meena
Namaskaram Meena ji,
DeleteYes, you can chant this sloka and also a few Saraswati slokas for your son. I think you might find this link helpful too.
Expose your child to different languages. Teach him small Sanskrit slokas every day. I hope you have also consulted a pediatrician about it. Sometimes, it could be some other minor problem which, when addressed, will get the child to speak fluently. Faith can move mountains. Do not worry. Shall offer a prayer for your son's well-being.
Hari Aum!
Nandini
How much time should I recite for exam better results
ReplyDeleteNamaskaram!
DeleteReciting these slokas help us collect our mind and improve its focus. That way the mind can do a better job in doing what it has to do (e.g. studying). Since nothing specific has been mentioned about how many times to chant this sloka, I think you may chant it as many times as you deem fit.
