This is the first time that I have visited your website. I found it very usefula nd enjoyed it. Some of the mantras have meanings attached as well.
ReplyDeleteIf you can include the meanings for each slokas/mantra as well as indicate the best time to say it, I think you will add value to visitors who want to know a lot more about our Hindu scriptures and want to recite them more meaningfully. Thanks.
Namaskaram,
ReplyDeleteWelcome to this blog. I shall certainly try and incorporate the meanings and other useful information about the slokas. Thank you so much for your comments and suggestions.

ReplyDeletethis is really very nice collection.
these days we often use Cell phones
most of cell phones have Mp3 players.
as I do when I work or alone then I continuously listen some spiritual songs and hymes and mantras at my cell phone with earphone.
I want to say that if you add .mp3 files at your bolg it would be really helpful.
Nokia Ovi music provide great collection of such songs and chants... this can be helpful...
thank you so much... thank you...
this is not a suggestion it is a request...
Namaskaram Tinku Sharma,
DeleteThank you so much for your kind words of acknowledgments. I do not have a lot of mp3 file with me, I listen to Youtube and therefore I provide only that link in most of the places. You can use some tools to download those songs from Youtube. I have not heard about ovi music, I shall visit and see if they would let me use/upload their mp3 files in my blog.
Thanks so much for taking your time to write to me :)
Have a great day!

Pls post the meaning of vidmahe, dheemahi, prachodayat to sowji406@gmail.com.thank u
ReplyDeletekindly post meaning of viddhmahe, Tanno, Dhimahe, Bhrugujayaya, matter urgent
ReplyDeleteNamaskaram,
Deletevidmahe is "we will know"
dheemahi is "meditate"
prachodayaat is "guide/inspire"
Example:
It means:-"Narayanaya Vidmahe"..meaning we will know
Narayana..."Vasudevaya Dhimahi" meaning "we will meditate on
Vasudeva"...."tanno vishnuh prachodayat" meaning "Through that
Vishnu will enlighten us"....
Hari Aum,
Nandini
This is best one, you can add Hindi meaning of every Sanskrit shlok below of that.
ReplyDeleteI found this blog looking for meanings: vidmahe, sdheemahi and tanno. Its a fantastic effort for you to have undertaken all by yourself
ReplyDeleteMy best wishes and blessings to you!
I have mp3 files of 37 stanzas of the Bhagavadh Giita, Produced by The Watefalls Institute of Technology;Composed and sung by Shrimathi Vijayalakshmy Subramaniam these 37 stanzas are said to represent the essence of the Gita. Please let me know if you wouldlike to listen to them and I can mail you the files. There is a booklet with them which one can read along for meanings.
The idea is to spread the word of the Gita and share its philiosophy. I believe there is no copyright on this work
