This sloka is to be recited in the morning when we wake up.
कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मी करमध्ये सरस्वती
करमूले स्थिते गौरी प्रभाते करदर्शनम्
karAgre vasate lakshmI karamadhye saraswatI
karamUle sthite gaurI prabhAte kara darshanam
கராக்ரே வசதே லக்ஷ்மி கரமத்யே சரஸ்வதி
கரமூலே ஸ்திதே கௌரி ப்ரபாதே கர தர்ஷனம்
Meaning: Goddess Lakshmi is believed to reside in the front part of our hands (finger tips). Goddess Saraswati is believed to reside in the middle portion and Goddess Gowri at the root (near the wrist portion). In this way, we should have a reverent look at our hands every day.

In this shloka, kara muley "gauri" is mentioned and then in the reply on January 2015 it's mentioned "givindaha" , which one is correct??
