ஆடும் ஈசனின் பாதமே அதை நாடும் நால்வகை வேதமே (2)

ஆடற்கலையில் நாயகன் அற்புதம் அவன் எழிற்கோலமே (ஆடும்)

ஈசன் ஆடும் போதிலே இந்த இயற்கை எல்லாம் ஆடுமே

உலகம் என்னும் மேடையில் வந்து உயிர்களும் சதிராடுமே (2)

ஆடி ஆடி பழகிய காலுடன் ஆடுகின்ற அழகனவன்

கோடி கோடி உயிர்கள் தோன்றிடவே நடமிடும் அவனது திருவடிகள் (ஆடும்)

வேதமந்திரம் ஓதவும் அருள்வீடு காட்டும் ஓர் மலை

ஆதி அந்தமில்லாத ஈசனின் ஜோதி காட்டும் அண்ணாமலை (2)

பஞ்சபூத தலங்கள் யாவிலும் நடனமாடும் ஈசனவன்

பக்தியோடு வணங்கிடுவோர்க்கு பலன் தரும் அவனது திருபதங்கள் (ஆடும்)

English transliteration and Meaning

aadum eesanin paadhame adhai naadum naal vagai vedame
aadarkalaiyil naayagan arpudham avan ezhirkolame (aadum)

The four Vedas resort to the Feet of Shiva that dance.
He is the Lord of dance; His form is wonderful 

eesan aadum podhile indha iyarkai ellaam aadume
ulagam ennum medaiyil vandhu uyirgalum sadhiraadume
aadi aadi pazhagiya kaaludan aadugindra azhaganavan
koti koti uyirgal thondridavum nadamidum avanadhu thiruvadigal (aadum)

When Shiva dances, the entire Nature dances along with Him
Life-forms too come to dance on the stage called world
He (Shiva) is the handsome one that dances with the Feet that are well-trained in dancing
With the dancing of His Holy Feet are generated countless life-forms

vedamandhiram othavum arulveedu kaattum ore malai
aadhiantham illaadha eesanin jyothi kaattum annaamalai
panchabhootha thalangal yaavilum nadanamaadum eesanavan
bhakthiyodu vanangiduvorku palan tharum avanathu thirupadhangal (aadum)

A mountain that resonates with the Vedic chantings (mantras) and showers Grace is the Annamalai (Arunachala mountain) which is a column of Light without beginning or end.
He is the Lord that dances in all of the panchabhootha sthalas*
His Holy Feet will reward all those who resort to Him with devotion.
