    1. Namaskaram,

I am having some problems uploading PDF here on the blog. I am still working on it. In the meanwhile, if you'd like to have a copy, please take my email from my profile and let me know what slokas you wish to have. I can send them by email to you. Else you can also leave your ID here, if you don't mind, and I shall email it to you.

    1. Namaskaram Raviji,

Slokas like Subrahmanya Stotram (posted above), Subrahmanya shodasha nama stotram, Subrahmanya gayatri etc. can be easily chanted everyday. If you know Tamil, Kandha Sashti Kavacham is also a powerful sloka that can be chanted every day. Please let me know if I have not made myself clear.

      God bless us all!

  5. Dear Nandini ji,
In the second stanza it should read as salla reeri nadha shanka vaadana priyam sadha and not as printed above and there is one more stanza to it....

    Mayooradhi roodam Maha vakya koodam

    manohari dheham mahaschitta keham

Mahi deva devam maha veda bhavam

Maha deva baalam baje loka balam.

    1. Namaskaram,

Thank you so much for pointing it out :) The last stanza has been added to it now.

As for the salla reeri.. I checked my book and it says what has been posted here. My understanding of the meaning is that Subrahmanya likes to play the musical instrument (jhallari) and the conch.

    Punyathman,
I have checked the sites of Lord Subrahmanyan having seen a stotram differently inscribed in one of the temples. This stotram was taught to me at my child-hood and i have recited the same a number of times. In this site also it is bit changed on the last stanza. I wish to put down the stotgram as i learned and I feel this should be the correct one. Will some better knowledgeable person clarify?
    "shadananam kumkuma raktha varnam
    mahamadim divya mayura vaharam
    rudrasya soonam sura sinya nadham
    guham sada saranamaham prapadye."

    1. Namaskaram Venugopal ji,

I see that the lines "shadananam" you have written form the third stanza instead of the last stanza. In the book that I have, it is as has been posted here.

Wish you a very Happy New Year! :)

  10. In my sloga books, the fourth line of shadananam kumkumarakthavarnam is "guham sadaaham saranam prabathye". But, you have presented it with a small change. Please clarify which line is correct

  11. Hello,

I would like to correct 3rd line of Shadaananam.
It is Rudrasya soonum and not soonam as you have mentioned.
Soonu means putra/son. So this line means who is son of lord Rudra/Shiva.

    Thank you.
