Margabandhu Stotram

This is to be recited by us before, during and after a journey. Lord Shiva, as Margabandhu, is believed to be with us and protect us from all hardships during our journey. Personally, I feel I seek Shiva's blessings, nearness and guidance in this journey called 'life'.

    1. Namaskaram,

Thanks so much. PDF has been sent to the address that you have provided here. Please let me know if you have not received it.

      1. I create the PDF only when someone requests me for one.
      2. Copying has been prevented to discourage some people from copying and pasting slokas onto their websites/blogs without even providing a source/reference link. I need to be fair to a few friends of mine (and to myself) who have put in their time and effort in typing some slokas for my blog. I hope you understand.

  3. Thank you Nandini. Somehow this remarkable shloka is construed as one for travel and journeys. I agree with you that it is the Journey of life it addresses. Could you post the translations , meaning or a commentary on it?

    1. Namaskaram Mahesh ji,

Thank you so much for your kind acknowledgment. The translation link has been provided at the top of the sloka itself. With God's Grace, I shall see if I can also get hold of some commentary on this. Thanks so much.
