Morning Sloka

This sloka is to be recited in the morning when we wake up.

karAgre vasate lakshmI karamadhye saraswatI
karamUle sthite gaurI prabhAte kara darshanam

Meaning: Goddess Lakshmi is believed to reside in the front part of our hands (finger tips). Goddess Saraswati is believed to reside in the middle portion and Goddess Gowri at the root (near the wrist portion). In this way, we should have a reverent look at our hands every day.
