Bhavanyashtakam

Bhavanyashtakam is one of my favorite compositions of Sri Adi Shankaracharya. I don't remember how I got introduced to this sloka but it has remained my favorite ever since. You can find the meaning of this sloka here or you can also read the translation by P. R. Ramachander here.
