Rama Mantra

The name "Rama" is equivalent to thousand names of Vishnu and therefore it is good chant this "Rama" mantra every day even if it is not possible to recite the entire Vishnu Sahasranamam.

  1. I think this mantra is missing some part, it should be
"Ram Rameti Rameti, Rame Raame Mano Rame,
    Sahasranama Tatulyam Rama Nama Varanane"

  7. It is equal to chanting the 1000 names of the Lord Vishnu(Vishnu Sahasranamam)
When Goddess Parvati asks God Shiva the easiest way of chanting the Vishnu sahasranamam,(parvati uvacha.. keno paye laguna...) Ishwarji says this mantra.
Rama said three times is equal to 10^3. ra(2)and ma(5). 2*5=10*3 fold 10*10*10=1000
If due to constrainst one is not able to chant the Vishu Sahasranaman, they you can say Sri rama ramethi.
    Hope I'm correct.
