Namaskaram! Welcome to this blog. Slokas and Mantras have been an integral part of my life. Some of my sloka books have become old and torn. Unable to find good replacements, I decided to blog some of the slokas, hoping they would help a few others too. I would be typing them myself, so kindly forgive me for any incorrect tamil and hindi/sanskrit transliterations and please keep visiting.
Wish you a great life ahead!
Thank you so much for taking time to upload the mantras of Sri DakshinaMoorthy Ashtrottams
ReplyDeleteNamaskaram Pradeepji, thank you so much for your kind words of acknowledgment. God bless us all!

ReplyDeleteNamaskaram,
ReplyDeleteI am sorry, I am not sure which scripture the ashtottara sloka appears in.

Nandini
Thanks for these names. However, the name "mahAyogine" appears 3 times in this namavali. Moreover, some of the names in here are not consistent with 'Sri Medha Dakshinamurthy Ashtottara Satanamavalli' audio from Prof. Thiagarajan and Scholars. Just wanted to let you know.
ReplyDeleteNamaskaram,
ReplyDeleteI think I typed this sloka from an old print-out that I had. But thank you so much for taking your time to let me about the repetition.

Sir,
ReplyDelete1. I have two questions, are Dakshinamurty and Brihaspathi the same?
2. In some texts Bhairavi/Thara mahavidya is/are considered as Dakshinamurthy's consort/s, then why is that one of his names in ashtotaranamavali says "bhamhachari"? Kindly enlighten me. Namaskaram.
